Our values

Loomis’ core values are the foundation of the company and they are drawn in spirit from the values of our predecessor companies: Securitas and Loomis, Fargo & Co. The pyramid, which is the central element in the company’s logo, represents these values. Three sides of the pyramid represent Loomis’ pledge to its employees, customers, and other stakeholders, including our owners. The fourth side symbolizes the dedication and attitude of our employees. The pyramid’s base represents the organization’s leadership, with a commitment to integrity.

Employees: Treat people right

Loomis’ commitment to its employees, who are all considered teammates, can be summarized as treating people right. This phrase means that we believe in respect for the individual. We strive to provide our employee/teammates with a clean, secure work environment. Loomis also strives to provide all teammates with the opportunity to develop a motivating career. Since Loomis operates in many countries and different cultures, we recognize our cultural diversity as an important asset.

Customers: Serve needs

Loomis’ pledge to its customers is to serve their needs. As we treat our people right, we believe they will be motivated to serve the customer’s needs. From a broad perspective, Loomis takes responsibility for fulfilling the public need for an efficient cash distribution system. When it comes to customers, we first ensure that we understand their needs, and then develop innovative solutions to meet them. We are always striving to improve our solutions.

Owners and other stakeholders: Create value

Loomis’ pledge to the owners and other stakeholders is to create value. By serving needs, Loomis creates value for the customers as well as the shareholders and employees. Value takes various forms for each stakeholder group, but it is our commitment to create value that benefits all.

Employee attitude: Duty, joy, and passion

The fourth side of the pyramid symbolizes our expectation from our employees to bring each day an attitude of duty, joy and passion. We believe all employees are able to influence the business. The ability to realize their full potential and positively impact the business starts with an attitude that each of our employee/teammates can choose. The duty to use their abilities to the utmost and encourage others to do the same. Take the time to enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done. Bring a passionate approach to taking on challenges and realize the impossible.

Leadership with integrity

The pyramid that represents Loomis’ values also has a base that represents leadership. Loomis values are only meaningful if its leaders follow them with integrity and if their actions promote trust. Leadership provides a living example of the values that drive our day-to-day attitude toward the business and inspires others to follow.

Company philosophy

Few words describe efficient cash management services better than balance. Loomis ensures that the right amount of cash circulates where and when it is needed. We base our company philosophy on balance from several aspects. Business opportunities are balanced against risk. The inflow and outflow of cash is balanced by efficient recycling, and management costs are balanced against finance costs. Loomis assumes responsibility for the reconciliation of different accounts and expects a balance of compensation for the services we offer and the value we deliver to the customers.
