Cash and Valuables in Transit Driver
We are currently recruiting for staff at the following locations:
Hull, Norwich and Rayleigh
The Main Responsibilities of the Role:
- To ensure the safe handling and transportation of all customer and company goods, whilst maintaining excellent levels of customer service
- To complete a vehicle check prior to any run, ensuring the vehicle is in working condition in accordance with legislation and Company Policy
- To complete the route as directed and as efficiently as possible
- To check all collections and deliveries for accuracy and complete all relevant paperwork and documentation
Hours:
40 hours week, shifts varying from; working 4 or 5 days out of 7 days.

- Some roles will attract allowance payments such as HGV driving.
- Bank holidays paid at basic rate plus 25%.

Requirements for the Role:
Applicants will need to be able to work as part of a team. The role requires good communication skills and the ability to deliver both excellent and consistent customer services. In addition, we are looking for applicants to have a well-developed sense of responsibility and the ability to operate within a secure working environment is essential.
You will need to be aged between 21 and 65, hold a full UK driving licence, have a 10 year traceable history, a good level of fitness and an eye for detail.
Staff carrying out CVIT duties will be required to apply for and successfully obtain a SIA CVIT Licence. The Company will apply for this on behalf of employees who do no already have a licence.
Training and Development:
Loomis is committed to the training and development of all staff. Our Training team consists of highly qualified Management Trainers as well as Regional Operational Trainers who deliver all training from our fully equipped training centres throughout the country.
It is compulsory for all Cash and Valuables In Transit Drivers to attend a 4 day company induction programme regulated by SITO. The course will focus on providing information about working in the cash industry and nurturing the relevant skills required to perform the job.
Ongoing refresher training is provided through your career together with any training required by the introduction of new technology.
