The deposit unit comprises two compartments: the upper compartment can be accessed only by the customer and can be used for cash storage to a maximum of £1,500. The lower compartment can be accessed only by Loomis and should be used specifically for amounts to be banked. Loomis will automatically insure the cash up to a total of between £6,000 and £35,000, as per your requirements.
There are also a number of alternatives in deposit unit specification and size.
Just place the cash and your usual banking deposit slip (duly completed), into one of the secure bags provided. Then, drop the bag into the lower compartment of the deposit unit where it can’t be removed, except by a Loomis guard.
After signing, the collection will be taken to a Loomis Centre where, on your request, we can reconcile the contents prior to delivery to your bank’s nearest cash centre.
