Legacy Management

An area often overlooked, but it is a fact of life that in most cases, when we install a new or refreshed piece of equipment, it is normally replacing something, which in turn needs to be removed and dealt with in some way. Clearly it is more cost effective for us to remove it at the same time that we install the new product, rather than to leave it on site for a separate collection.

We encourage our clients to address these issues during the Project Definition Workshop (PDW).

Whilst many companies see the management of this legacy equipment as an unfortunate overhead, it can represent a revenue stream, or a PR opportunity. Loomis-Technical works with brokerage partners who will arrange the re-sale of your equipment where this is commercially viable, and we also have partners who will arrange for your equipment to be passed to third-world countries or to schools in the UK - after Loomis-Technical have carried out certified disk-wipes.
