Installation Services
Loomis Technical has the capability to deliver rollouts of any size across a range of technologies. In the ideal circumstance, we would offer a full, managed service on your behalf, but we are happy to partner with you in a way that allows you to enter our service portfolio at the point in the value chain that best suits your business model.
Our installation services are delivered using in-house facilities and resources. We do not sub-contract any work, except for cabling services and equipment disposal, both of which are managed by us and delivered seamlessly using one of our approved partners in each field.
This ensures end-to-end management of your project by a team with a full understanding of your requirements. Whilst maintaining a total focus on quality and delivery, we are also able to accommodate the unplanned events of contract and project activity.
In many ways, the installation is the most important part of any project, as it is the end-user who is receiving their new PC, till, ATM, kiosk etc, who we most want to impress with a smooth, efficient process that ensures minimum disruption to their work, whilst ensuring that they have all the information that they need to continue working on their new platform.
The key to the success of an installation lies in the Engineers and Team Leaders completing the work on site. They are often the only face of Loomis Technical and our client that are visible to the end-user, and therefore it is essential that they are well briefed, trained and competent.
Loomis Technical´s Engineers are based around the country. On joining the company, they are graded according to their skills and experience, and this grading is reviewed annually. In addition, all Loomis Technical Engineers are subject to ten-year vetting, leading to British Security Industry Association clearance. A wide range of skilled resource is available across various technologies, including ATM, desktop, server, mid-range, networking (LAN + WAN), EPoS (front and back office) and kiosk.
Engineers always receive specific project, cultural and task training before deployment onto new projects. In our experience, the interpersonal skills of an Engineer are as important as their technical ability. We will allocate and deploy Engineering resource to meet your needs. So for example, it is quite normal to have projects requiring Engineering resource for a period of one week as well as projects utilising tens of site-based Engineers over several years.
